Please find details below of upcoming work that will take place on Pitt Street Station.

Work during standard hours, Pitt Street North and South sites

The below work will be completed during standard hours (Monday to Friday, 7am to 6pm and Saturday, 8am to 6pm):

• Monday 18 July to Saturday 23 July (not including Sundays):
o steel fixing and formwork will continue to take place for construction of the building structures. As the structures rise in height, nearby residents and businesses may hear increased noise from the work activities
o scaffolding is being installed and dismantled around the site
o concrete pumping is ongoing for construction of building floors and walls, and into the underground caverns
o coring (using a core drill) will take place on the work platforms
o material and equipment deliveries from work zones
o block work is taking place to build internal walls
o installing and dismantling jump-form systems
o station fit-out work and the installation of utility services is continuing in the underground caverns and basement levels.
We will continue to work within our project approvals to complete this work and provide respite periods where applicable.

Work outside of standard hours, Pitt Street North site (corner of Pitt, Park and Castlereagh streets)
Extended work hours will continue to be implemented on Pitt Street Station. Work taking place outside of standard construction hours is outlined below:

• Monday 18 July to Friday 22 July, 6pm to midnight
Saturday 23 July and Sunday 24 July, 7am to 6pm:
o formwork and steel fixing will take place to build the building structures, internal floor slabs and walls
o materials including steel will be moved within the site by the tower crane
o waterproofing of the site shaft walls and concrete pumping into the site and basement levels will also take place
o the site hoist will be used to move workers from street level to the base of the site. Restrictions are in place that limit the type of equipment that can be used during evening work hours to reduce the impact on nearby residents.
• Monday 18 July to Friday 22 July, 6pm to 7am:
Site deliveries will take place from parked delivery vehicles in the Pitt Street North work zones. The tower crane will be used to lift material and equipment into the site.
• Tuesday 19 July (contingency), 8pm to 5am:
Modification work may take place on the hoarding around the perimeter of the site on Pitt, Park and Castlereagh streets.
• Tuesday 19 July and Thursday 21 July, 6pm to 5am:
Work will take place to locate underground services. Activities will include; above ground scanning, saw-cutting (using a concrete saw) and digging in the road and footpath around our sites (using a vacuum truck, excavator and jack-hammer), and temporary restoration of impacted areas.
• Wednesday 20 July and Thursday 21 July (contingencies),
8pm to 5am
Saturday 23 July and Sunday 24 July (contingencies),
7am to 6pm
Work may take place to install vehicle access gates at the North site on Castlereagh, Park and Pitt streets. The concrete footpath and kerb on Castlereagh Street will be removed using a concrete saw and excavator, a new telecommunications pit will be installed, and a new site access driveway will be constructed.

Pedestrian detours will be in place. Traffic control will be in place to assist pedestrians.
• Ongoing site operation work (24/7):
Essential site operation work will take place 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at the Pitt Street North site. This includes dewatering of the site and underground ventilation fan operation. This work is not expected to generate high levels of associated noise.

Work outside of standard hours, Pitt Street South site (corner of Pitt and Bathurst streets)
• Monday 18 July to Friday 22 July, 6pm to midnight
Saturday 23 July and Sunday 24 July, 7am to 6pm:
o formwork and steel fixing will take place to build the building structures, internal floor slabs and walls
o materials including steel will be moved within the site by the tower crane
o waterproofing of the site shaft walls and concrete pumping into the site and basement levels will also take place
o the site hoist will be used to move workers from street level to the base of the site. Restrictions are in place that limit the type of equipment that can be used during evening work hours to reduce the impact on nearby residents.
• Monday 18 July to Friday 22 July, 6pm to 7am:

• Monday 18 July, Thursday 21 July and Friday 22 July, 5am to 7am:
Early morning concrete pours will take place in the South site. A concrete truck/agitator will be parked in the Bathurst Street work zone. During the concrete pour work, equipment/machinery used will include; a concrete pump, concrete vibrator and concrete helicopter. Some of this work may be noisy.
• Ongoing site operation work (24/7):
Essential site operation work will take place 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at the Pitt Street South site. This includes dewatering of the site and underground ventilation fan operation. This work is not expected to generate high levels of associated noise.
Note: Some out-of-hours work may be noisy at times. Where possible, we will do everything we can to minimise the impact on you. Station
